How the JRM Compliance website and app use cookies.
We keep cookies to a minimum and use only strictly necessary cookies, which do not require consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR):
| Cookie | Purpose | Type |
|---|---|---|
| Session cookie | Keeps you securely logged in. Set with SameSite=Lax and expires when your session ends. | Strictly necessary |
| Stripe (at checkout) | When you subscribe or manage a subscription, our payment processor Stripe may set cookies to process the payment and help prevent fraud, used only on the payment flow. | Strictly necessary (payment) |
We use our own privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics on our public marketing pages to see how many people visit and which pages are popular. It sets no cookies and does not store your IP address (a short per-day hash is used only for approximate unique visitor counts), so under PECR it does not require consent. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party analytics or tracking, or cross-site behavioural tracking.
As we only use strictly necessary cookies there is no consent banner. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, but the Service may not work properly (for example, you may not stay logged in, or be able to complete a payment) if these cookies are blocked.
