These Terms govern your use of the JRM Compliance service (the "Service"), provided by Ratcliffe & Sons Ltd (company number 12925329), trading as JRM Compliance ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account you agree to these Terms.
An online tool that helps landlords and letting agents store compliance documents, track certificate expiry, record regulatory obligations (such as PRS Database registration, Ombudsman membership, HMO/selective licensing, Right to Rent and deposit protection), manage contractor jobs, build inventory / check-in-out reports, obtain electronic signatures on documents you upload, message tenants, and — for letting agents — manage multiple landlord clients. We may change or discontinue features.
Provide accurate details, keep your credentials secure, and you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be 18 or over and able to enter into a contract.
No unlawful content or malware, no unauthorised access, and no interference with the Service. Only upload personal data about others (for example tenants) where you have a lawful basis to do so.
You keep ownership of what you upload, including any tenancy agreement or document you upload for electronic signature, and grant us the limited licence needed to host and process it to provide the Service. We do not draft, provide or check the legal content of any agreement you upload for signing — that is your responsibility. For tenant and contractor personal data you act as the controller (see the Privacy and Data Processing pages).
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance through our payment processor, Stripe. Where a free trial is offered, your chosen plan begins after the trial and renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the current billing period. On payment failure the account may become read-only rather than deleted. Fees paid are non-refundable except where the law requires. Current plans and prices are shown on our pricing page.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. The Service helps you organise documents; it does not provide legal, safety or compliance advice, and we are not the issuer of the underlying certificates.
The Service is a record-keeping and reminder tool. It is your responsibility to ensure your properties actually meet all legal requirements and that certificates, registrations and licences are valid and up to date. Reminders and status indicators are a convenience and must not be relied on as your only means of tracking obligations.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud). Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, or losses arising from your failure to meet a compliance obligation; and our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. The Service is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law.
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to protect the Service. On termination we handle your data as set out in the Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms and will post changes here.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, whose courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
